This set includes everything required to perform aerial photography or videography using a camera that weighs 500g to 3kg (we don't supply the camera).
The OktoKopter XL is a high capacity version of the standard OktoKopter system.
It features eight large motors with large propellers, high power speed controllers and the latest MikroKopter flightcontroller.
A SLR camera such as a Canon 550D or 600D can be carried for over 9 minutes. The flight time when unloaded is over 16 minutes.

As a 'ready to fly' set, we take care of all the assembly, testing and adjustment for you in our specialised workshop using tools and experience gathered from building many MikroKopters and a close relationship with the manufacturers in Germany.

The following premium options are included with this RTF MikroKopter (all assembled, configured and tested):
JR 2.4GHz 9 Channel radio with Jeti Telemetry screen. (Altitude, Battery usage, position, heading etc). Our best for MikroKopters with enough channels to operate features and provide shutter release for a camera, and still some spare capacity to control other features on your MK such as LEDs, Carefree/POI mode and so forth.
NaviCtrl+GPS+MKMag modules - for position hold, come home and waypoint flying. Invaluable for photography work as the MikroKopter can hold its position while you take photographs, or you can make use of the new POI mode which will automatically point the camera at a chosen subject (you supply the GPS position and the altitude).
Video Downlink (transmitter and receiver) Connects to your camera to allow viewfinder preview on the ground. This is a profressional grade video link made in USA. You will need to provide a small video monitor or use a laptop with a USB video adapter.
Our own BlipSwitch pro shutter release interface to control a digital SLR camera (Canon or Nikon). The shutter half and full press can be controlled. The zoom cannot be controlled as it is not motorized.
